Still having second thought of getting ourselves a semi-pro camera Canon 50D. I have read all the wonderful thing that this camera can produce, and I was thinking about long-term investment in term of lens. S100fs has serve me well and I am quite contented about the photos that it produced. The price of that cam is not that cheap for my case, maybe some of you may think it worth it for a cam like that. Finally, I have gotten myself a new cert after so many years. ACRS which is Adv Cert in Retail Supervisory. All of us has gone through 8 months of training. There was only laughter and joy. Not to mention that when we first joined this course. We will stressed by the assessment and LGA. But all those are not difficult to handle as long as you understand how to apply it in your job or assessment. I have learned a lot of things through this training and feels that it is a worthwhile training not just based on academic and also what the world need you to be. Now that I have advance to the next level, which is Dip in Retail Management. The challenge has increase and lot of the ex-ACRS students wanted to give up. We support each other to bring them up and meet each expectation and making things happen again. Using this training, we also learned not just in work we need to work hand in hand, sch make a big different in our social life too.

Recently dear dear has put on an entry on basketball. Talking about how basketball influence her life. All the highs and lows. I too will talk about how basketball influence me. Through basketball I have found lots of frens and making my confidence level high. Whenever i feel down, basketball is there for me. Whenever i feel lonely, basketball is there. In every aspect of my life, basketball has a part in it. Even my love life and eventually led me to marriage, Basketball was there. Basketball thanks for all the things i'm having now by playing with you. I think i like what Huiting said " I am addicted to basketball"

Blindside 20X low

All these years, I have been wearing Nike basketball shoes. Now its time to try some other brand like Adidas. Let me introduce my new basketball shoe, it is called Blindside 20X low. When i first wore it, I do not have cushioning feeling which I always look for in Nike shoe. The front of the shoe is a bit stiff and hard. It took me a while to adapt to it. So I walked through the shop like 10 min and when I heard about the price........ I was shocked to hear that it only cost $66. Which is way below my budget. Then I decided to buy that shoe not because of the brand but for the low cost. Yesterday i have tried out that shoe, it turned out to be good not as I have expected it to be. First, I thought my toes will be painful after wearing it after playing basketball. Yes, it do not hurt at all, and most importantly I would say Adidas has made improvement in their basketball shoes and making me spolit for choices when I need to buy basketball shoes now.

Yesterday, while I was playing basketball. Somemore who is younger than me, suddenly told me in Hokkien. "Young Man, play ball until this rough." Then I told him, that I'm not that young anymore. He was angry and saying that play basketball how can be that rough, then i told him that this is basketball. So he stated that I hit his friend on his face while blocking, so I asked him to ask his friend whether did i do it. The friend said that I did not do that. So he bring on another reason saying that I was very "Xia Lan" and I was staring at him. At that moment, all of his friend came up and said the same things. Then I looked elsewhere, told them to continue the game, they were so engross in their talking, talking about me. So I to say umpteen times in order to let them understand what I'm saying. We were playing 3 on 3, so he changed 2 players in order to 'ATTACK' me. HAHAHAHAHA was in my mind. So I played normally with them without any aggressiveness, so they stated that if i play like that even when they win it will not be a glory thing. HAHAHAHAHAHA was in my mind again, they still think of winning when they are really that bad in basketball. Then when we continue our game of 11, when I was counting the game points. I really thought that they are winning, when I scored another ball, out of the sudden they said that we won. I was shocked and felt that if they think that way then its ok.

On sat, we went to the 188 bas court to look for some fren. Then I saw a bunch of hooligans, from their looks and voices that they made, makes me feels uncomfortable. So during the last match, I played even though I was not in my sports gear and my leg was injured. So it went on, their skills are not good and was scolding vulgarities during played.

Then yesterday, they were again appearing at 188 bas court, this time what they did was making me wanted to make them eat the humble pie. When my fren are playing at the match was still on. They remarked that how come they are playing for so long and just interrupt their play. That was something that make me feel angry abt which I cant simply don care. I told my fren, wait till I recovered, I make sure they pay for it.

OUR FISHING EXPERIANCE

It was really funny, the first time when we went to the Tanah Merah ferry terminal. We saw ppl fishing there decided to buy a fishing equipment from Changi Village. Once we got there, we need to choose the rod, the winder or what I'm not sure, then the line, weight, baits and also learned how to tie the knot for the swivel and link it altogether.

Once we are ready, we set off to Punggol Beach for the trial. First it was fun and we gotten burnt by the sun. We choose the wrong timing to go. Then at night, Jesslyn called her fren Ivan who was our instructor for the day. Taught us how to tie the knot for a single hook and all those kind of different rods and lines for which kind of fishes. But it was raining that day, so we sat down at the nearest carpark for all the things that he taught us. Once the rain was getting drizzle, we started to move to Punggol Beach to fish. When we got there, there are lots of ppl fishing already and it was still drizzling. But we carried on with our fishing. Jesslyn was the first to catch a fish up. So I followed his doing and many times it worked. So there was once I used it again the line snapped, so I thought it was the weight. Then I tried 1 more time and snapped again. Sian liao. The problem of snapping the line is not that serious, when it come to my mind that the hook will it land on somebody?????? So I stopped.

Our place Rivervale Mall recently opened Daiso, the always $2 shop. We went to buy a bait which catches squid. Jesslyn always saw ppl caught squid during our fishing, so we wanted to try fishing it. There come the funniest part, once again i showed the spirit of Kendo. I broke the line again having our bait put into the sea again. Luckily there was no one around when I did that.

Today my baby gave me a surprise which I was shocked to see that. The story goes like this. This 2 wk, my supervisor Edward was on leave. So all those things that he needed to handle was all passed to me. I think is a good time to learn. But nevertheless, there are always some issues going on the company. So when he left all his work down, I was being marked. Last wk, was still ok for me. But morning once you step into the company, have not settle down. Then bullet shoot at you. So was feeling quite down, I told my baby that I would like to play basketball at night to feel better again. But in the end i did not go for the basketball game, but my feeling started to get better. Do you know why?????

She brought the Street Fighter 4 game for me, which I planned to buy it for this mth quota. As we promise each other we can only buy 1 game per mth. Thanks Dear I love it so much and I also LOVE U. " muack"

Deary stated that we should buy a new PS3 instead of a refurbished one. But I am now flicked minded about buying a new one. Though it has its pro and con on buying and not buying. If we would buy it, I can play my games and surf net also on it. Watching HD movie, etc. If we don't buy the PS3, we can save up the money for future use and also won't spend the money on buying the games and accessories. HAiz

I will be getting my .................................................... REFUND not my PS3. Actually I'm quite sad, for not getting the PS3. Maybe it just not fated for me to get it. Though it is really cheap, $199 only. Now at least I won't grumble abt the PS3 when I pass by any game shop & my baby will have a peaceful shopping without avoiding any game shop. SIANZ.

I waited and waited for it to come. Jesslyn told me not to sms or call them during that time. So I waited for them to call or sms abt the update of the warranty issue. But when I went pass any game shop I would "sign". Telling her that I remember the PS3 issue. So after some time like last wk, she told me to sms or call them to ask abt the set. So I sms him first before calling to Sony asking abt the set. There was no ans and reply from the sms, then I called Sony. Giving me the same ans, so I quite worked up and started to show the other part of me. I demanded an ans from them, and they still give me the same ans again & again. So in the end, I ask them if they are going to do anything abt it or just sit there waiting for the ans to come. Finally, then they started to think, so he told me that he would called up the management to ask abt the issue and will ans me by today. Though I didn't received any call or sms, that was what I expected. So I tried sms again. It replied, telling me that he requested the management for an ans on Mon, if not he would ask for a refund. But till now still no reply from the other end.

Yesterday, while we are still at Wisma. We went to the Food Repubilc for dinner. Despite of my health, I still got the Beef soup for dinner. It was great and nice. Jesslyn too got the fried beef noodle. After that we went to the Toast Box for some light dessert. We brought the set 3 which consist of Yuan Yang, Eggs and Pork Floss toast. So we sat there enjoying our food. So she took out her Japanese language book to recall what she had learned. Then, she challenge me to a Japanese Hiragana test. Test who can write the Japanese wordings. Guess who won, of course is NOT ME. She is really getting better in her Japanese language. She now can even read some of the simple food name in the Japanese food menu. Good, keep it up Baby

Yesterday, we went to Jurong Point. It has really changed a lot that both of us can't really know where we are. We tried looking at the tiles, maybe i might be different to the old one. But it was the same. So we tried looking at the design of the building. But it was the same. So we are still lost between the two building. In the end, we manage to find our way back to the old building. When we got back to the JP1. We wanted to watch a movie, so we went to the cinema and before reaching there, we went in the Harvy Norman to take a look at the LCD TV. When we got there, we saw a Plasma TV selling at $999, and it was 42". We are getting interested in that TV already. But then, there was someone coming. Come over to disrupt our mind with new, expensive and new technology TV. Selling us a Samsung series 5 LCD TV at $3000. The design is really nice and sleek. We are really interested in it, suddenly our mind told us not to buy that expensive TV thought it was really nice and the size is right for our living room. Then we insisted that we would come back after we had our dinner. But we went to Courts to find out the pricing, same size and model. Selling at $3300 with free gift of LCD TV 32" or Home theater system. He was also telling us abt the model which is new or old. They at Courts are currently selling type model B instead of selling A. The different between these 2 model are the Digital Decoded System. Which help by saving money if we do have a digital source, we do not need to buy another digital decoded for the TV. But in our mind, we still think is too expensive to buy a $3300 TV. Then, he remember a brand LG, which now selling at $2199, 47" LCD TV with full HDMI. We were like 'wow', so we took a look how the resolution and graphic like. To our surprise, the resolution is really bad even our source is from the DVD player or rather the Blu Ray player. The resolution is really noisy. Not just the some part of the TV but the whole TV was covered with noise. That was really bad. So our confident level drop, and that's all for the LG LCD TV. Come back to Samsung, which both of us still think is the best LCD TV. In the end, we still did not buy any back, as we would want to see more prices and model before hitting it. This is a big investment so must slowly think abt it.

BBALLING

Today Bballing was good to the point that i was playing 1 on 1 with Jie. I went there around 8 plus, then Jie told me that Gred that bunch of kids are getting lousier. Then I asked, what happen. It was like that, they were playing 4 on 4. Jie's team was winning 8 -0, but in the end they lost........... WHY??????? Don't believe what I just said. Me too, i was shocked to hear that too. So he told me that their defence was bad and really bad that let the others scored 11 points. That was scary. After a match, he told him that they are tired wanted to rest. When i got there, Jie was not around, he went to buy some drinks with Gerald. The court was left with some player but they are not playing any matches. Gred and gang played PSP till Jie came back. So I asked them to play 4 on 4, but they just continue playing their game. It was alright with me, but consider the timing, they really should come over. But in the end, I need to ask them over instead of them coming over.

During the match, I observed their defence. It was really bad. Those players which only have average skills manage to cross over them without any pressure. I told them to stay focus and stay with your men. Throughout the match, I can see that Gred was really pissed off. The way he played the game and the attitude that he presented himself was really bad. Quite disappointed in his attitude. I always though that he was those kind when others told him abt his bad point, he would change for the better. But it was the other way round. Gred pls take in other ppl advise if you wan to succeed in life. Jeff had improved a lot from the last time i saw him. He knows what to react for the situation he is in. Good for you Jeff.

Our conclusion, why can't we have others to play with the both of us. Even we had player to play with. But they just do not want to play with us. From secondary sch till now. So strange................... Be positive. Though my leg can function that well anymore, I still do wish I can play Basketball. Thanks Baby for letting me play this evening, I LOVE YOU JESSLYN. Yesterday Bballing was great, I can run and jump, but not too high and not too confident in my jumper. Trying to get better each time. My gout, I hope it will go away soon. So that I can play better. Those boys wanted to have training early in the morning at 7.30am, asking me whether do I want to join them. I was thinking that they are having holiday but I'm not. So i just tell them what to do this morning. Those boys really are improving, from the first time I saw them till now. They really improved a lot.

Waiting for the Thurs, to be able to play with my buddy MJ. Long time never played with him already. Heard from Gred that he has regained what was like from old times. I wan to see how much he has improved.

These few days has been playing ball quite often, must control myself not to neglect my baby at home. I will play ball 1 or 2 times a week. I promise. Love you baby. Take care and get well soon!

We were at home the whole afternoon till night then her mother and sister invited us out for dinner. We went to this buffet steamboat, which cost $15 nett per person. When I saw the sign board I thought it was another stall. Chey it was Chong Qing steamboat buffet. It is located near the Chang Jiang porridge. The food was ok, not very special. I think Da Chang Jin is better. Though the price different is like $5. But the quality and the spread looks more attrative. I think you all would be thinking what did i do for her birthday. OK. I did a biggest card for her on our toilet mirror, and brought her a small slice of cake that has presented to her on 12 midnight. Another one, I cooked noodle for her early in the morning. The present have already given to her more than a mth ago. So no more surprises. Wait for the next year for more surprises to come.

Yesterday was the first time that I encounter NEL breakdown in 1 year 11 mth and 10 days. I was having my assessment yesterday, normally my baby would pick me up from sch. But she was sick and so I went back on my own. I wanted to take bus service 88 back but it would take abt 45 min - 1hr. Then I remember Jesslyn told me that, there was a new way of going to Toa Payoh. By taking bus service 142 to Potong Pasir then take mrt back. So i tried. It was really faster and also save lot of time. It was like 10 min ride to Potong Pasir, then from there to SK was really fast I thought. Then the breakdown happen when I was in Kovan. First, I waited like 15 min or eariler, then the mrt moved to the next stop. Now at Hougang, we waited for 5 min and the staff told us to drop us at Buangkok for free shuttle bus to SK and Punggol. WAH LAO!
Then I thought at that timing maybe wasn't much people taking the bus, so i went up and saw people rushing for the free shuttle bus. SIAN! So i decided to call Baby, wanted her to pick me up from Buangkok. But she is still too sick. So I walked to the nearest LRT station, but the nearest was also very far.DIAO! So I walked there, no choice. By the time I walked there, I still see the notice by the MRT, then i went up. My mind was thinking, as there are no one around at the LRT. Will the LRT also spoilt too???? SIAN...... After a few monment, there are people coming up and LRT coming too. HENG!! Finally got back home.......

Finally, Jesslyn agreed to buy a PS3 for me. Which is cheaper from the market. I was so happy that im going to have PS3 for myself. We paid on 2/5/09 and waited till now still have not gotten it. They said the set is unable to read disk and need to send for repair. After that, they told me to wait for the warranty to approve before having to repair for the set. Ok I wait. But till now the warranty has not been approved so my set is still sitting at the shop waiting and waiting for it to be repaired. SIAN.

Always wanted to take pics of the sunset at Sengkang. But always miss the timing. Haiz. Must fix one day really to wait for the sun to set. This coming Sun, is celebrating Kenji's birthday. It will be at Punggol Park. We will be having BBQ there in the morning till afternoon. It has been so long since we have these kind of gathering. Oh ya, i will be taking my basic on Oct, surprise right. For those who knew me, should be shocked..... hahahahah But if i can pass i will encourage more ppl to take. Just last week, that was a terrible week that i have been through. On Fri, I vomitted, LS and having fever like ..........38.5oC. It was terrible. I'm having stomach flu. It like 4 days, i took MC on Mon as the intestines is grinding and stomach cramp. Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh It was the most serious case up till now. eeeeeeeee. Hope it won't happen again. So scary.

For those who knew me, i don think they remembered me taking up a book and started reading, except for those days in school. Where we had our reading period. But everything changed, when I get to know Jesslyn (who is my wife now), she let me know the leisure in reading and i thanked her for that.

I have just finish the book "For one more day" by Mitch Albom. While I was reading this book, some of the passage really make me feel sour and guilty about the things that I have done in my life. Things that we once forgotten and things that are so simple. What i learned from the book. I learned that i need to express more, cherish the people that are close to me, do what is important in your life and need to reflect yourself more to your love ones, as they are the one who will always be with you no matter where your are. What situation you are in. I cried while reading this book, it really touches my heart.

Indian Wedding

Hi, this is the first time that I am attending an Indian wedding with my baby. I find it a most refreshing experience. My baby is very excited, and there is one part when they exchanged vows, I remembered how me and baby exchanged OUR vows. Baby, if I had been not a wonderful hubby as I should, I apologise. But you know I love u. Time and time I let u down. But I will improve myself. U are the most amazing woman I have ever met. You are my superwoman.

She always wanted to teach me, how to write properly in my blog. Being a shy and conserve guy, I tend to put up a front when everytime this happen. The popular and the not so popular!

Do you have this kind of feeling: you want to fit into a popular crowd or you want to get close to someone popular? I do. And this feeling suddenly came upon me when I played basketball with a group of teenagers.

This was what happened:

Last Friday, we played 4-on-4 (basketball) and suddenly, one of my players slacked halfway and did not play seriously. He is one of the better player and with his half-heartedness during the game, it brought the whole team spirit down. After the game, I asked him " what happened during the game". The answer that he gave me was, "your player that u have trained, has been playing solo." That's make him slacked half way through the game. At that very moment, i felt something different in my heart. Someone talking in me. Saying that i should not stay close to the unpopular guy. Those times when I'm in sch. I used to be someone who is being left alone and not much friends around me. So i tend to have this kind of feeling to be in the group and stick on to the popular one. But at that moment of time, i suddenly told myself that i should do what's right and what's wrong. I admit that sometime i do think like a kid, but all these are over. So after the conversation, i went over to the person and started playing basketball with him. Didn't care what the other party said about him. I think God wanted me to do wat is right, to amend my mistake when i was young. Thanks God for guiding me through all these.

Continue from the last post...... After that we walked to Hwa Chong JC and saw her juniors playing basketball and went in to play with them and chit chat a bit. Rest a while and we continue our journey to the Beauty World and Bukit Timah market. Then we walked pass a bicycle shop and wanted to take a look. So we went in, maybe we are turtle, we saw a bicycle which cost $5500. WOW... that was the only word that in my mouth then. So we acted and slowly move out from there. Next, while we are chatting abt wat car to buy if we are getting. Then we walked pass some cars shop. Mitsubishi and Nissan. Took some pics but don think will be getting this 2 brand of cars. KIV. Then walked to 6th ave, went to the Cold Storage and take a look of the range of things that they carry. It is so different from the normal Cold Storage in neighbourhood area, the brand and type of things that they sell from the fresh food counter. We asked if they are selling fresh oyster. They said they don but one place for sure, do sell ( Great World City, Cold Storage) surely do sell. So if u wan to have fresh oyster go to Great World City Cold Storage to get some. Back to the journey to the Beauty World and Bukit Timah market. Then we slowly proceed to KAP and took a rest at the MAC and went to the Cold Storage again to look at range of products. So fun and relaxing day.

Today, we wanted to climb the Bukit Timah Hill in the morning. So we went out at abt 9+, took the LRT to Seng Kang bus interchange to hop on bus servise 156. The bus did not really get to the place that we wanted. So we intended to change bus after alighting at Serene Centre. Hey, ........sleeping now heehee. To be back tml......

Dear Mummy

Thank you for all the loving, tender, care for me till now. I'm sorry if i did anything wrong to hurt you, make you sad and worried. Though you always call us to ask us where are we and what are we doing. I know this is the only form of way that u can talk to us and know what happening in our life. I'm really happy to have you, in my life and taking care of us is really a big responsible job for you, as we are really naughty. During my school days, at that period when pager was the 'IN' thing, you would paged us and ask our where about. Now, hand phone is the 'IN' thing, you still continue to call us and ask our where about. So funny. Though we might think this is very annoying, but for my mum, this is how she express her care and concern for us using calls and the complaint that she made, as her legs are getting weaker each day.

One day, i started to cry when i thought of my mum, buying the last pair of basketball shoes for me. Which cost $123 and it was a Nike basketball shoes. At that moment of time i did not feel anything special about it. But when i think back at that moment of time. My family was not well-to-do family. But my mum would rather buy something to make me happy, and at the back suffer on her own. This is not the first time, it happens a lot of time. While I'm writing all these my tears start falling again. It was quite sad, as i think that i was not good enough at that moment of time, why must i buy such expensive shoes and why did i not thought of my mum's feeling and the financial difficulty that we are having at that moment of time. So sad. So many bad things that i have done to hurt her and nothing was done to make her happy. After i got married, i finally relised that my mum was so important to me and would try to make her life better in the future. Mummy i love you, though u did not hear it from my mouth but my word are ther to tell u that i love you. Happy mother day!

On Sat, we brought a new cam and its a semi-pro cam. Fujiflim S100 FS. It was introduced to us by Kelvin who took our ROM photo, not just that our AD photograhper and his photo club fren Andrew was there too. So all the pros were there to help us choose our first semi pro cam. Which cost us $900+ but is worth the buy as when u see the quality of the photo taken. At night time went out with this little boy Joshua to buy something for Mother day. After that we met up with his parent and Xiao Fen also join us at later period. At first, we intended to buy gold for her but the pricing of that piece of jewellery was way out our budget. So we went to Takashimaya to look for another gift to buy. Over there coincidently, there a roadshow of Osim. So we brought a U papa for her. Mother day buy Papa. Anyway, today i shaved Wang Wang already. Have not uplaoded the photo yet as still to trim so of the places as he not co operative enough. Btw i used 3 hr to shave his fur and the new shaver was over heated. In the end, i have to use back the old shaver to carry on the rest of the fur.

Lately, Eng Wee told me that he has changed job again. Now he working in e-bay. So he told me that IT had started to bloom again. He asked me to change my job and start working as desktop consultant. When i have enough experience then changed job again. But Jesslyn told me that IT was not blooming and was going down. So think abt it, maybe should try to do something different. Studies, right now is what i am concerned. Logistic is one of the choice that i made. But for short term goal, i planned to go for dog grooming course first. Trying to save money for taking my dogs to groom, so i think why not i do the grooming myself. Save money and maybe can earn some money through it. So those ppl who are reading these, if u think that my works are acceptable, let me groom ur dog ( just like Pimp my ride the show). (",) See whether this works as a part time for me. Jessie also told me that, should try something different from other. Like giving pets massage, and other special treatment which other don't. Lately has also been sad, but these thing cant write it here. Do not like to disclose to so many ppl. That my character! Always trying to bottle up my feeling, but after my marriage i tried to express myself to Jesslyn. But still i won tell u what im sad abt. Haha. Don worry, it is not something major, just normal kind like feeling down sometime. Maybe i do have PMS. Eeeeeeeee Ok then, time to sleep. That day, watched a variety show which talks abt insomnia. I think i do have that problem and health problem lately has been very bad. Getting fatter each day and tend to eat lot of food. Tml meeting collegue to have dinner, long time din have contact time with them. Update again tml. Good night!!

Last Sat, we both went down to Ikea and brought 2 glass cabinet which cost us $59 each, usual price $99. One for Jesslyn to put all her trophy, as she has 100 to put in. The other one is for me (not to put trophy as i only got 2 :P) to put all my toys collection which i recently collected. Just fix it up yesterday, have not put in all the thing yet. When its ready, we will take pic and show all of u. Now still thinking of wat to get for the next collection. Now i do have Final Fantasy 7 on my collection. Maybe i will get ......................... Don know lei. Maybe Sunday go down to China Square and look for the next one.

Its been 6 mth since i last went oversea. Deary and i was thinking of going Tioman last wkend, but in the end the timing was not good enough, so we decided to cancel it. Will be planning another one soon. Lately, Jesslyn wanted to go oversea alone. She told me that she need some excitement. I truly agreed with her. So i told her that when she come back from her trip, i will go somewhere alone. Me too, need some time alone. Maybe won be going very far, only in Malaysia. Walking around the town, taking pics, if possible can go for hike in the jungle. Since young i liked the nature. But all these are still KIV, so many possible things might happen. Just for ur info, we are not having any problem and we did not quarrel. We just want to try out something different, while we still can. hee hee
